Prop Artist/Environment Artist/Texture Designer
Hi! I’m Joseph, a 3D Environment Artist and recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I earned my BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development. I specialize in creating stylized and stylized-realism environments, with a passion for visual storytelling and crafting immersive worlds.
Throughout my academic journey, I developed strong proficiency in industry-standard tools including Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine 5, Adobe Creative Suite, SpeedTree, ZBrush, and Procreate. I am also certified in Adobe Photoshop. My time at SCAD allowed me to collaborate across disciplines, build multiple game-ready environments, and refine my technical and artistic skillsets.
My professional experience began as an instructor assistant at an art camp, where I supported instructors and helped guide students through creative projects. I’ve showcased my work on The Rookies, a global platform for emerging artists, and participated in various workshops, including SCAD AMP, which focuses on preparing students for professional creative environments. I’ve also taken part in additional sessions exploring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and ZBrush.
Outside of the classroom, I’ve worked with multiple tutors to further deepen my understanding of Maya and Unreal Engine 5, continually striving to improve my craft. I’m passionate about creating environments that tell stories, evoke emotion, and bring players into unforgettable worlds.
I’m committed to learning industry-led techniques and push my skills further as I grow in the field of environment art. My goal is to continue building compelling, visually engaging environments for games and interactive experiences.
